About

Kira began writing as soon as she was old enough to speak. Before she could write them down herself, she would dictate short stories and poems to her mom, who would write them for her. She wrote some great classics, such as “My Dad’s Hair is Like a Dandelion” and “My Markers,” which was featured in Highlights magazine.
Throughout the years Kira has moved on to more grown up writing, although she still tries to carry that youthful love of storytelling with her at all times. She has written many short stories, poems, and articles during her 27 years, some of which have been published in various online magazines.
With a bluntly honest personality, and a strong passion for always saying and doing what she truly feels, Kira brings her own distinctive voice to her work, promising never to write what is comfortable or obvious, and always challenging others to do the same. She believes success will come from being passionate about every choice in life and following those passions even when it gets tough.
She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio and welcomes any questions or comments you would like to send.
