Lady Gaga Revenge iPhone App

gagarevenge Lady Gaga Revenge iPhone App

This is the most exciting news for the iPhone since the Taco Bell Shaker!  Lady Gaga has a new app from the makers of the “Tap Tap Revenge” game.  The game is a sort of “Guitar Hero” for your iPhone or iPod Touch.  You tap the circles along with the beat, and shake your iPod back and forth with the arrows.  “Tap Tap Revenge” has a huge library of songs to download, but now “Lady Gaga Revenge” has all of Gaga’s hits, including the remixes, to tap along with.

The graphics and game themes go along with Lady Gaga’s album “The Fame,” making it nice to look at as well as fun to play.  The game can also give you a chance to meet Lady Gaga.  They are giving away 4 tickets to a show with backstage passes to meet Gaga herself.  To win, you have to download the game and submit your high score for each level, including the bonus stages.  They are also giving away 30 autographed copies of “The Fame,” which you can win just by submitting one high score.

The app sells for $4.99 and can be downloaded from the iTunes store or by clicking HERE.

Apartment Therapy’s Smallest Coolest Home Contest

teenytiny Apartment Therapys Smallest Coolest Home Contest

I never thought I would be jealous of a 210 square foot apartment, but the winner of Apartment Therapy’s Smallest Coolest Home Contest in the “teeny-tiny” division makes me want to live there.  It’s cozy and decorated very well.  It looks like someplace I’d love to curl up with a good book and relax.

The grand prize winner of the entire contest was the 478 square foot apartment in the “tiny” division.  I actually liked the teeny-tiny apartment better, but the winners in all divisions had great places.  Even if these people live in small apartments, they clearly have enough money to decorate with good taste.  My apartment might win “most items donated for free in a small space,” but that’s about it.

One thing I don’t understand is that the winner of the “small” division had 1150 square feet.  How is that a small apartment?  I don’t think I’ve ever lived in a place that big, even when I lived in 2 or 3 bedroom places.  It’s definitely a cool apartment with a loft sort of vibe, but it’s not small.

“Don’t Miss A Beat” Music Video Challenge

Interscope Records has developed an interactive music video challenge on YouTube.  Starting with Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” video and going through 14 others, you watch about 25 seconds of the video and then a question about the video pops up.  If you answer it correctly, it automatically takes you to the next video.  If you answer incorrectly you have the option to try again.  Each level asks a more detailed question than the last.

It’s a fun game, and it uses some of the most popular artists of today such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Soldier Boy, and Lady Gaga of course.  The fact that Lady Gaga was the first video is what sucked me in, but then the game ended up being really entertaining.  Even if you’re not familiar with the songs it’s easy to play.  I only made it to the 4th video before I missed one…how far can you get?
